Intended Audience: Intermediate Teachers for grades 3-8
Description: Beginning Reader's Workshop (based on the work of Lucy Calkins and presented by Judy Davis) will be explored in our time together. In Reader's workshop, students are explicitly taught the strategies and habits of effective reading. They learn to talk, think, and write well about their reading to live richly literate lives. Lunch will be provided on Monday.
